Zero chance. Gaudreau started poorly but he now has close to double the points Meier has.

Devils are better off waiting until next year and see if Timo bounces back, because at his contract and level of play, he's not getting a good return.

Fun fact: Gaudreau has 25 points in his last 25 games (4-21-25). He's finally looking like himself, and whatever curse he had may finally be lifting (he's had so many challenges called back, posts, random bad luck, etc).
