Yup, makes little sense. I think Markström should be the target from flames. Think that puts them in a playoff spot. Trade with Nashville should be for carrier and trenin. Add a bit of toughness.

I’m not even a Flames fan and I am laughing at that offer for Hanifin + Tanev. Two late 1sts (not even this year’s 😂) & a pending UFA. Wtf 🤯

Multiple firsts for Hanifin and Tanev without having to retain would be a win for the flames.

The flames ownership seems and has shown they don’t like to retain.

I would be shocked if Hanifin fetches an A prospect. The only time I can remember an actual A prospect or close to it being traded for a rental was that moronic Forsberg for Erat deal Washington got fleeced on
