I don’t see Chychrun being a target for NSH considering they have Josi and McDonagh on the left side already and signed long term, Forsberg is a cap dump, and Norris feels like another Johansen to me (60 point center making $8m), so I’m not too interested in adding him.

Calgary isn't taking 2 late firsts and Brannstrom for a guy with an entire 8-year contract in front of him. If you want to pry Weegar from Calgary it has to start with someone of equivalent skill, control, or term. A guy like Chychrun might be an option, but he expires as a UFA and might not want to sit through another rebuild/retool. But with that being said, Weegar shouldn't be leaving Calgary anytime soon.
