A 2nd for a goalie with a 3.18 GAA and a 0.883 save % is exactly what the devils need. Also Chicago isn't retaining that much on Jones nor does Toronto do that

Easy no from the Hawks. The retention alone kills that trade. Can't see the Decils (or anyone else) paying a 2nd for Sammy either.

Jones is not "absolute ass". If you actually believe that, you have no clue what you are talking about and should go back to reddit or twitter or 4chan or wherever you came from before you started posting on here. Everyone seems to conflate completely separate issues about trade cost and contractual obligations with Jones being "bad". He is currently playing excellent defense, even if his offense is lacking. CHI has no reason to move him or his contract right now, let alone at such a giant loss, and they aren't retaining on him for 6.5 years, totalling over $15M in salary. Especially not for some late picks and a bunch of scraps.
