What a confusing response. The rumor is the trade posted or the rumor is the Canes won’t trade these assets?

If we are going to start spouting off nonsensical rumors, I heard at a gas station that Ottawa has a trade in the works to send Zub and Pinto to the Canes for a 5th round pick.

If the proposed trade is the result of a rumor, it either originated from an Ottawa beat writer who has no insider knowledge, or from one of the Canadian market talking heads, who throw as much crap at a wall as they can, hoping that anything will stick, whose insider knowledge should be taken with a grain of salt.
