It's not likely that Winnipeg gives up a high 2nd for a depth winger.

1 million cap hit for a 3rd line depth scorer? Are you going for the cup or not????

He's awful defensively, so he wouldn't be on Winnipeg's shut down 3rd line, he'd be on the 4th. Either way a depth winger that isn't a difference maker doesn't warrant moving a high 2nd for.

Holy 💩.

Terrible return for Jake.

Not retaining on Ullmark. If they do they get double that return.

I would think JVR would fall under a 3rd round pick comp. His EV defense is in the 50’s, so I wouldn’t label him as terrible defensively. He needs to be surrounded by someone who will get shots off or he is pointless.

This deal is moronic, but he’s a damn good value at $1m

How many people would criticize you for some bad ideas?

I’ve had an AGM or two I’d like to take back after posting them. smile

A 3rd I could see. But no chance I want the Jets to give up a pick likely between 33 and 40 for him.

Look at what Tanev just went for???? 3 draft picks for a guy who has scored 1 goal. I get he’s a Dman but that’s just the new price you have to pay for cheap good talent this time of year.

One is an RHD and one isn't. Left shot depth wingers are plentiful and easy to find.
