From Colorado's point of view, there's too much risk that Byram will continue his development into a top-4 defenseman for them to trade him.

From Anaheim's point of view, there's too much risk that the Colorado first may turn out to be pick 30, 31 or 32 instead of 23.

Analyticss don’t always tell the whole story if they did who needs a GM and don’t act like he isn’t the by FAR the most valuable piece in the proposed trade.

Simply a no from the Avs all round. Fleury has already stated he wants to stay put so the likelihood of him being moved is ridiculously remote and that's too much anyway. The ANA trade is ridiculous for the Avs and there's no guarantee Rico is any major improvement over RyJo.
