My brother in Christ, that’s the price to move Campbell for nothing, not for Ned and Joseph.

Yeah these are terrible lol.

NSH declines.

VGK easily decline, idk how you think you're getting more from them compared to what PIT paid.

PIT declines MN, terrible deal for pittsburgh.

Tomasino and a 2nd too much, even then Nashville wouldn't be interested.

I think both Pit and Minnesota decline. Pens aren't getting enough back for Guentzel and minnesota getting Guentzel and resigning him would disrupt the plan that seems to be in place for our young guys to help us compete in 2026 and beyond. Plus Heidt is an absolute dog that I don't think Minnesota wants to give away.

Absolutely no chance the Wild remotely consider that. First they'd need Middleton if they're trying to go for it, which trading for Guentzal would imply. Second their team is worse than the team they had last year when they didn't move a top prospect or a 1st for any rental help so it doesn't make any sense for them to do it this year. If they want Guentzal for next year, they'll either talk to his agent July 1st or trade considerably less to whoever gets him as a rental to get his rights in June to try to negotiate before he hits the open market.

Has nothing to do with the pieces being bad, they're just not pieces PIT needs.

The Oilers need to add to the return to the Penguins if they are not retaining on Campbell's salary.
