The draft pick is going to Philly regardless and it’s not up to Philly to decide what year the pick is, it’s Columbus's decision.
The condition on the pick is that Columbus, after the first round of this years draft, will decide if they want to send this years or next years 2nd round pick to Philly.

yea considering that buying him out is so inexpensive, getting that extra million would only matter if we were actually getting long term deals to like every single one of our RFAs this summer which i don't think is likely
