    1. Hayes, Kevin
    Additional Details:
Anaheims trying to get better right? Hayes could go on your 3rd line and you guys would benefit. He’s a bit older but he’s only signed 2 years for relatively cheap for a team like the Ducks with all that cap space

    CGY
      Flames fans:
I was looking through some CGY AGM posts and it seemed like lots of fans were trying to ship him out for seemingly nothing but I could be wrong, so Flames fans let me know are you really wanting to trade him and if so does he have value, if so what is it

      Blues fans:
We aren’t entering a full rebuild, just retool and I’ve already sold off some assets now instead of going to free agency I want to find some value in trades for low value high ceiling guys. We did this with Vrana and Kapanen and we have done it in the past and I believe in the strategy, and I also being Kuzy could be good

      Additional Details:

      DET
        Detroit fans:
It’s seems like statistically Fabbri has been good but similar with the CGY trade I’ve seen a decent amount of fans trading him for picks around the 3rd round. I could be wrong, so Wings fan let me know, is Fabbri available if so does he have much value if so what is it?

        Blues fans:
Similar with Kuzmenko bringing in someone who I believe can output more then what we give for him, and I think Blues fans love Fabbri and it would be a nice homecoming

Love Robby but unfortunately he looks like the odd man out. We'll take Nathan Walker for him

Not bad! Buchnevich would be a good winger for Draisaitl, and with an extension coming, that makes the proposal more attractive. Is there any way we could do this without giving up Holloway? I believe Edmonton would still like to keep him on the roster as a cheap depth forward as he try’s to find his game.

You can have Fabbri for a pick. He's a good dude but he's just too fragile and that contract could be used elsewhere

That’s fair, how do you guys value McLeod? Doesn’t have to be him either just wondering

No kidding. 3 Firsts/equivalent for 20 games of a midlevel talent top 6 winger. Take out Broberg and and Holloway and add one of the none NHL Forwards like Lavoie or Bourgault, and then add a 3rd team to retain salary. Paying any more than that should be a fireable offence for a GM.

        Or....

Add Jack Campbell from the Oilers and leave the deal the way it stands now.

Well this deal is in the off-season with an extension put in place I said but ok. Also being drafted in the first doesn’t mean everything, wasn’t Broberg drafted 6th overall? He certainly hasn’t played like one. Holloway is 22 with a career .16ppg in the nhl, and broberg is the same age and hasn’t been able to even stay in the nhl. Also the first will most likely be very late in the round

I would say he is valued pretty decently in Edmonton. He plays a major role on this team. Currently, he is fluctuating between being our 3c, and Draisaitls line mate. We just don’t really have anyone to play on his LW at the moment, as the Nuge/McDavid/Hyman line seems to be a lock. Sometimes we even see Draisaitl on McDavids wing, due to the lack of top 6 talent for him to play with. If he had a guy like Buchnevich on his wing, he would be putting up way more points than he is. McLeod has been looking pretty good on the wing too, so maybe we will go for a 3c. Who knows.. maybe that’s why we were linked with Henrique..

        8th overall

Broberg is NHL ready, playing top pair minutes in the AHL. I personally would rather see him on our 3rd pair next season then moved for a rental, and I think Oiler management looks at it the same way.

Buch wouldn’t be a rental for the third time this trade would be made with an extension in place

Okay, okay. I just need to point this out just once. In this scenario, we are trading for Buchnevich, and he comes with AN EXTENSION IN PLACE! Broberg would not be moved for a rental haha. With Ekholm being on the Oilers for the next 2 and a half seasons, I wouldn’t be opposed to trading Broberg, especially to get Draisaitl an actual winger to play with.

I am gonna freak out haha!

Is there anyway this trade could happen at this TDL? I think that would make it more appealing for the oilers knowing that we would have him for a playoff run.

campbell is negative value. near 4mil for the next 4 years and wont touch the NHL again. IF campbell is in the deal then EDM loses retention on buch and coughs up another pick.

I feel like midlevel talent top 6 is a slightly disingenuous viewpoint of Buch.

What I mean by that is he is middle of the pack for top 6 winger. In other words. A good, but not necessarily great player.
I would certainly take him on my team, but not at the cost of 2 players who are, or will be NHLers with plenty of upside and a first round pick.

Your mileage may vary, and that is fine.

I dont know that the Oilers have the cap space to sign Buch long term. It will all depend I guess on what they do with Campbell.

I disagree with putting him as a midlevel top 6 winger. He might be top 10 LW in the league.

campbell is negative value. near 4mil for the next 4 years and wont touch the NHL again. IF campbell is in the deal then EDM loses retention on buch and coughs up another pick.

You bet he is. And if they could include Campbell then they would not need the retention (or they could include a later pick for retention if they wanted to go that way. I think with an extension for Buch I would be very happy to include another pick.
