- Because the current top line right wing is Jimmy Vesey after it was Blake Wheeler for several months
- Because Vatrano had spectacular success with Kreider and Zibanejad two seasons ago
- Because Vatrano carries two years of term which A) saves us from spending trade deadline assets in 2025 and B) times perfectly with Gabe Perrault
- Because Vatrano's goal scoring pace is complemented with career high assist measures on a piss poor Ducks team which is indicative that while he is expected to regress, he's still plenty more capable to be 1RW.

Well I'm just being honest with you it's either him or zero defence which is your need. You can't even say "we'll just look somewhere else" because your GM is literally at our facility and based on a cursory research (I invite you to provide sources proving otherwise if you have them), this is the first report of him traveling like this.

- 56.1% during the Regular Season. No need to cherrypick the kid line and Shesterkin carrying the Rangers on that run.

He will never see the ice before Mintyukov or Zellweger. We are stuck with 2 more years of Fowler. He will likely never see the ice ahead of Lacombe. We also have Vaakanainen, Hinds, Dionicio. He is sub-6ft and we already have undersized Zellweger. There are almost too many reasons to count why he is not going to be coming to ANA

Our GM in NY doesn’t mean a trade actually happens, nor even that he’s specifically scouting NY (could be CBJ). Even if he is there specifically for NY, nothing to suggest it’s for Jones

He was at the CAR-MIN game last night. Last season he made a trip to games around the league too. Being at a game that has 2 teams playing doesn’t mean he’s definitely making a trade you proposed.

We keep telling you zero defense in the trade, you just don't want to hear it.

Verbeek is a scout at his core. He travels and scouts all season long.
