I have thought for a while that it's not Allen that's getting traded, it's Primeau. Allen is harder to get value for because of his level of play recently, and I think Primeau is out because we have Montembeault, Dobes, and Fowler for the net for the next while.

Don't like the idea of moving Primeau without giving him a real chance, he's 24 and has only 34 NHL games, spread over 5 seasons. Ideally he would've been the backup to Monty this year, getting into ~25 games, and given the opportunity to earn more starts if he plays well, while Monty takes most of what's left, giving Allen a few games and shipping him off, but unless Primeau plays as the starter for the rest of the season he's not reaching that, which he won't. I get the logic of trading him while he has value because if it doesn't work out for him then Montreal wouldn't get anything for him but I don't want him to be traded before having a chance to play consistent games in the NHL. I'd rather see Allen moved but I think if it was going to happen it would've by now

Don't think anyone takes Armia's full salary, he's a good depth player but they shouldn't make 3.4 million, and while Vegas can afford it now that Stone is out they'll be stuck in cap problems this summer.

Joel would be a happy man in Florida on that 3rd line (instead of Pearson)

Primeau has less experience than Pickard in the nhl why would Oilers give up a 2nd rounder? Oilers also have Rodrigue in Ahl who's doing pretty good.
