No it isn’t.

It’s just a pile of bottom roster guys.

Dumba with retention and BJugs is worth 1st/2nd/decent prospect. At the very least each worth a 2nd/prospect.

There is not one piece coming from Winnipeg that i’d pay more than 3rd or 4th for.

AZ not doing that w bjug in there. stanley and gustafsson arent moving the needle (maybe for dumba alone) and appleton is fine 3W but AZ has more W now they they need and are needing C badly - only way can see dealing bjug is getting C close to NHL ready

Bjugstad is worth quite a bit. Especially to the team using him as a 2C. Dumba with retention is a third and midling prospect, imo.

Stanley is not worth anything. The third covers most of Dumba. I think people under rate what Appleton brings to the bottom of the lineup. Gustafsson still has a chance of carving out a role as a quality middle-six guy. If they were going to move him, they could do worse, though they'd rather have a second+, I'm sure. But he's not a rental and filling a valuable role. Not sure why they'd do this.

Well, that's potentially the 23 yr old, 6'2" Gustafsson... But why roll the dice until Bjugstad's contract is almost up next season.

Gus has 101 NHL games under his belt and the only thing he’s shown is he’s not good enough for the NHL right now. At 23 it’s getting to be make or break soon. He is not looking like top 9 material and does not have the type of game for 4th line role.

I wouldn’t do that if Appleton is involved, they are so close in statistics that it isn’t worth it to try and upgrade, but I would love to see a Bjug, Vladdy, Appleton 4th line.

Neither player really fills a need for the Jets, it seems like a trade for the sake of making a trade while getting older and not improving.

He's almost a point per 60 on a deep team. Strong on the dot. Takes most guys about 200 games to get their feet under them to take the next step. There's still time for him to figure out his game at this level. I don't think it's enough to convince them to move Bjugstad, but it's a reasonable offer, imo.
