Considering that Lyubushkin is worst than Kovacevic, has a worst contract, that Kovacevic is bigger and younger, still have a year so he's not a rental player and they got a 3nd round for Lyu... I can see a 2nd for Kovacevic at a trade deadline. Things get crazy these days

It looks like Johansen is a problem, so if he is, I can see MTL helps COL to get rid of his contract, and I can see COL take Allen as backup goalie. Pearson won a cup, good vet to put on 4th line in playoff, bring depth so for a 7th rounder I think is fair. + at the deadline, on the cap he will cost like 700k.

Canes aren’t paying that much for an 8th defenseman. If the Canes want another 7D if they move TDA at the deadline, they have Coghlan in the AHL who can get called up.

COL has absolutely zero need for wingers and they take on cap in the trade that’s a pretty easy no.

I don't know dude, All I say is here in Montréal we heard that Johansen was a problem in Colorado. And you guys need a back up goalie aswell. So its sound like a contract deal to me but if Johansen is good for your team, ofc it will never happen
