Hoglander has been fantastic this year and is 22 years old signed for another year and Lekkeriamaki is our top prospect. I'm against VAN trading our top young guys for a rental, which is what Guentzel would be for the Canucks. I'd much rather trade for a cheaper winger like Toffoli, or Vatrano that wont cost nearly as much as Guentzel rn. I'm not saying Guentzel wouldn't be a good add for the team, he;d be our 3rd best forward prob but i am saying the price is a little too rich and we already made our big move with Lindholm

The Canucks need cheap scoring depth. Hoglander provides that. He’s top 10 in the league in 5v5 goals this season and signed for 1.1M for another season. Obviously Guentzel is great, but it doesn’t make sense for the Canucks to move Hoglander
