Description
Did I go overboard? Did I not offer enough? Either way, If the Avs are going to "surprise" everyone with a hockey trade for a player with term, why not Nico, who (other than maybe Erickson-Ek) is about as perfect of a 2C as possible for this team.

Ok, roast away (and yes, I know the 24-25 cap gets rough if Landy comes back)

Thats a lot of quantity, but not the quality New Jersey would need to make the trade.

The Avs simply don't have the pieces available in a trade to get a Hischier or a JEE.

Are you high? A 22 year oldwork-in-progress D with high draft pedigree, 2 likely late 1sts, an ok prospect and a cap dump is not going to get you a young 70-80 point Selke caliber center on a great contract. Especially since New Jersey doesn't need a Byram-type D at all.

Ah yeah the guy that devalues everybody else’s assets and inflates his team. Byram top 4 dman on a cup contender that dominated in the cup run. First round picks are first round picks, they are only more valuable contrary to what you think, that’s why there are protections on them, and purely for funsies Byram is worth 2 1st rd picks by himself, Behrens is an NHL ready dman that was a 2nd rd pick so you think the equivalent of 4 1st rd picks and a 2nd is not quality. You my friend are a silly silly person.
