Mikheyev does not have positive value at that cap with his trade protection and his output. Especially to Winnipeg who is competing for a cup this year, why would they actively make their team worse?

1. Winnipeg is NOT trading Ehlers before the playoffs (depth is everything)
2. Lafferty: see #1(same thing for the Canucks)
