Description
I more so just want young players who can’t get it going. Worked for strome. I’m thinking with the right coaching, minutes, and confidence these players could at the very least be impactful players in the future while other teams prep for the playoffs. Oilers bottom 6 is awful so that would spread out the bottom 6 pretty good. Seen just now that islanders made whalstrom available so he’d be a good add. Want Holloway too but don’t think oilers would give up on both. Also want kakko but i dont think I gave up enough for him. Left who’s in IR on there since I’m unaware when these guys will return. I know AA was talked about soon but hall won’t be for the rest of the year. Also FOR FUN added Frank nazar since he’s tearing it up and can easily play in the NHL right now.

CHI probably has zero interest in adding more LD. The Wahlstrom trade is fine I guess, but I think the Isles will want to use him in a more substantial trade that adds a scoring winger. Last but not least, I doubt the Rangers are ready to move on from Kakko, a former 2nd overall pick, for so little. Much like the Isles, the Rangers will want to use him in a trade that brings back more substantial piece(s) than that trade would provide, if they even decide to move him.

The rangers are already trying to move on from kakko. 2nd overall or not he can’t get it going but I did say I don’t think I gave up enough. Broberg can play on the left I think he’s better than alot of the LHD prospects Chicago has

Beat me to it. I feel like if Wahlstrom is traded, it's either a 1-for-1 change of scenery trade, or they package him for something better. Donato isn't going to be anything more than bottom-6 on the Isles, like Wahlstrom has been, so I don't see the need for New York to add a pick to make a deal like that.

I think Kakko is certainly available for the right price or in the right trade, but they aren't just going to throw him away in a trade like this. They could probably offer CHI a 3rd and a 5th for TJ 50% retained and Enty, and CHI would accept. Broberg is fine, I guess. If nothing else CHI could give him NHL ice time and let their prospects cook a little more in the AHL, and then flip him if he does well, or keep him and trade someone else if they want him in CHI long term. Even still, I don't think Broberg is worth all of that. Regardless of Raddysh's offensive shortcomings this season, he has been effective in other area's of play, put up 20 goals last season, and has a cap hit lower than the current league minimum, he has value. Same with Guttman. Gutsy is a good young prospect that still has some upside.

Yeah I mean the thing is, these are young players that were drafted high with substantial upside. Yes, they've been made available, but they probably want something of more value in return, especially for Kakko
