I don't think I've ever said they weren't trading Lindholm I'd be surprised if they did, I know the reports with the Bruins came out today but to me it just seems like Vancouver is exploring different options, still think we try our best to get Guentzel without moving a roster player besides Mikheyev

Guentzel > Lindholm…then add the retention on Guentzel. Definitely wouldn’t do Lindholm for Guentzel 50% retained straight up. Nor does it make it much better by adding Hoglander for Eller and POJ.

Rutherford is a lunatic. He'll trade five 1sts for Guentzel if he thinks it gives them a SC. He's not like other GMs so when you make claims like you're in the front office, prepare to be proven wrong with that man. On a side note, Lindholm has sucked all season and will never recover the millions he lost when he refused the contract offer from Conroy over the summer.

It makes no sense for Vancouver to move Hoglander is the issue, he has 19 5on5 goals this year which would be 3rd best in the leagues that's not on an ELC with him coming in at 1.1mil it just doesn't make sense for us to trade a guy that produces that much for that cheap. as for LIndholm i really think Tochett likes having the 3 big centers down the middle will be helpful come playoff time, and the fact boston was the team to call us makes me think they could move him but it's not their prefence to do so

I think VAN would be stupid to move Hoglander as well. I also said it would stupid to acquire Lindholm. Looks like I was correct on that.
