It looks like you could use some left defense help and he plays with Burns so he still produces. What about if I added a 3rd?

You want a 1st rounder and a prospect for a 7th round pick last year? Are you being serious?

Yes, he's coming off a really good year in junior. He's a D who got over a point a game in the WHL. It's fine if you aren't interested though.

Hey Dangles I need you to reduce your roster to 20-23 men before I can do the "roster check"

Need you to do some math, find the amounts of the following and list it as such in your description

                      Signed Players: $00,000,000
                      Retained Salaries: $A
                      Buyouts: $B
                      Bonus Overage: $C
                      Total Cap Hit: $D
                      Remaining Cap: $E
                      UFA Budget: $F

                      Discrepancy:
                      1. Description - $Amount

Signed Players is the sum of the salaries of the 20-23 players you have in your roster, UFA Budget is $83.6M - total Cap Hit. Rest should be straight forward. If you have any questions you know where to contact me

                      RE: The Phaneuf/Ryan swap

Sorry Dangles, but I'm going to decline the deal entirely. We disagree on Ryan's value, and I'm not willing to move either of the players that you want from me in this deal. Unless you're interested in anyone else, I've given up on making a counteroffer.

No, I value Seabrook as a top 4 guy and am not willing to move him without getting value back in return.

So here's the thing Dangles. I was under the impression that it is NOT standard protocol to grant counteroffer opportunities to everyone who's interested in an asset. Historically speaking, I have not seen it happen in such instances. I did, however, just discover that while it's not the standard thing to do, it is the courteous thing to do. Thus, while what I did was anything but malicious, it was discourteous.

When I'm in the wrong, I'm the first to admit it and try to make it right. I had no reason to be mad at Booth, and you have no reason to be mad at me. I let my emotions get the better of me, and I answered for it. You're easily the nastiest person in this game right now, and I still feel bad knowing that I did something unkind to you. Because of that, I actually do want to make it up. However, if you're gonna paint me as somebody that I'm not, and if you're gonna refuse to admit that you have little to no reason to be mad at me, I see no reason to try to make it up to you. I'm not a spiteful GM and I'm not a hypocrite. I want to solve this in spite of your constant rudeness to not only me, but damn near everyone else on these forums. Thus, I invite you to talk to me, either on my page or in private, to discuss our differences here. It's your choice to accept the invitation.
nobody, Duster and jmac490 liked this.
