Its crazy how much money is left over with this roster. I hope they add another LD too, Jones is good but id rather have him and JJ (and Malinski) as injury replacements than top 6 regulars. 3rd pair D, backup G, and 4C is very doable with 4M+ in space

You forgot the Flyers fans who said Joey would never get along with Torts again!

I don't understand PHI deal for PHI. I barely do understand the deal for BUF for BUF. AVS done it again...

Tbf most of us agreed that Byram for Mitts made little sense to Buffalo and more to the Avs and that it would be a surprise if RyJo went to PHI, but they've also just put him on waivers so I imagine that may be a buyout job.

Well, for once, I agree with them. Buffalo needs veteran RHD, not another young LHD....

The Avs took their Tanev deal to PHI & the Flyers wisely accepted. Walker wasn't getting a 1st otherwise. As for Joey & Torts, they'll have to suck it up like men.

BUF deal always worked, despite stubborn BUF fans hangup on handedness.

Now just trade for Lingren, Dowd, and Edmundson and you are ready to win another cup

Washington does seem Like a seem one stop shop for the rest of Aves needs. Could Jake Allen retained be a good fit for backup?

I was right for a change! - from another post (Pulls pin on Grenade) - I Love the whole Sabres don't need Byram argument. I get the righty/lefty thing, but statistically, that D core is terrible. Dude immediately becomes the second best D on that team (that's not hyperbole, check the stats, counting and fancy), likely leads the team in 5v5 time and, checks notes, has won a cup, so maybe he can be a positive force on a team that has done bupkis over the last 13 years. Maybe take on the talent and jettison the pieces that are not working.
