I would hope Philly would be being willing to do a 1st + Laughton + a prospect if that's the price for Chychrun

Depends which 1st round pick it is. I’m not interested in like Laughton + 30th overall + like a random prospect

16th overall pick + 3rd line forward + a prospect who had 111pts in the OHL last year and is okay as a rookie in the AHL among the worst prospect pool in the league is an acceptable return

Value wise it's fine, but I think if I'm the caps I'd prefer to keep Fehervary just because of the cap space it keeps free. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Caps and Sens made a trade in the off-season around a guy like Chabot.

(also Fehervary is my favorite player so yeah)

I'm not willing to give up Marty. He's the perfect partner for Carlson. Adding Chabot makes 3/4 of our top4 D offensive dmen who can't defend

Yeah I would tend to agree with csick. Laughton could be a target in a trade for like the sens second-rounder this year and a mid-tier prospect. Id have serious concerns over the long-term vision of the ownership/management group if he held much value in a Chychrun deal. Andrae as stated already doesnt really do much for us

Not true . Seravalli says they can easily move Chabot but he might not return as much as Chychrun would because of his salary
