Nice offer for LOC but the issue is for what he delivers at that price and how good a fit he is it's unlikely the Avs will want to move him unless they think they have absolutely no chance of re-signing him.

And I think he stays for a bit of a raise and some long-term security. He had a nice run earlier in the year in terms of scoring but he's really a 4th liner that shouldn't cost more than $1.25M or so to sign.

As a UFA he would be able to get way more than 1.25M. Wouldn't surprise me if he got 2.5 or even 3+

It's possible and I probably underestimated but he isn't worth anything over $2M; he has bursts where he puts up some points and he is a good PKer but he does his best work in limited action as an energy player. If someone pays him $3M, they'll regret it.
