I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means when it comes to the lottery, but if these two teams won 1st and 2nd overall, I'd want an investigation

I suppose there's some possibility the Blues would pass on Yakemchuk to take Jiricek, but I certainly would not expect it.

Devils will trade that pick for a #1 Goalie. and beside i dont think NJ can jump that high, lay of the drugs

I wouldn't purely because of injury history, but if the scouting/drafting team felt confident that they could bring Jiricek up to Top 4 caliber then I trust them.

Yakemchuk just feels like a lesser version of Roman Josi and to me looks like a great top pairing D.

My ultimate dream would be to grab Dickinson this year and Hensler next year and then start truly pushing for the wild card after that.

If NJD gets #2…I’m hoping we trade back to 7-9 range and add a good player in process.

If the reverse, I wouldn’t mind Yakemchuk this year and Schaefer next year. Then we snag a RW in 2026
