Would think that Noesen, who has made almost no money in his career, might seek a larger payday after dramatically outperforming his contract.

Also, your 3C stinks

Liljegren is more valuable to Toronto than a late 2nd. He's had some great analytics this season

kk at 3c is ok, he's just doing a very vad job as a 2c. He just doesnt produce but if he have a defensive on a 3rd line he should be fine. agree that noesen s.gpne in free agency for the best offer.

KK's an elite 3C, and would even be fine as a 2C. Stop it, now you're just crying for no reason.

He is a bad 4C. He barely plays and produces nothing

The offer sheet and subsequent 8 year contract is one of the worst and dumbest moves a team has made in 20 years.

Sorry you can't deal with it

What? LMAO, he's only a 35-40 point defensively dominant 23 year old... his contract is great, he's an ELITE 3C, and a good 2C who can continue to create chances.

He barely plays, is sheltered, has no significant evidence he is good defensively and barely produces offensively. His role could be filled on a year to year basis by a 1 million dollar player

Pens pass. We have enough 35+ players. Need to start bringing in some more youth.

barely produces offensively lmfao? 150+ points in like 380 career games, that's fairly normal pace for a younger third line center.

I wouldn't take what most "leaf fans" on here say in regards to Liljegren, he's very important to the team and plays more minutes than most of the defence.

34 point pace for a #3 overall pick who carolina traded a 1st and a 3rd for and paid him almost 45 million dollars for.

He's heavily sheltered and produces nothing. It's ok to admit a mistake from time to time

what does that he was a third round pick to do with what he is now? yes he wasn't as good as projected, we all knew that already. that doesn't mean he isn't a decent 3C at the moment.

I don’t know why everyone thinks top draft picks NEED to produce at a point per game pace or better lol

Not every player is the same. You still need 2 way players to support the guys who are point per game players

He isn't a 3C and paying the offersheet price and the contract is the whole point.

For his production you just sign a ufa on the cheap. Canes fans can't admit the offersheet and the contract were massive mistakes

Yes, you can find those guys everywhere. You don't offersheet them and pay them 45 million bucks.

If they had made a modest trade for him and signed him to a 2x2.5 contract we wouldn't be talking about this

There is also no evidence he is good at either offense or defense.

And not every player you sign is gonna fit in the system and be good or work out lol

You’re acting like it’s holding the team back when Carolina is good. But you probably think Krebs is better lol
