I think CHI could have interest in Frost. But I'm not sure why Philly sells him.

Girard is unlikely to be available now Byram has been moved but stranger things have happened. Decent offer that the Avs would probably have to consider.

just intrigued at how they will manage their cap. gotta love girard but it feels as if hes the one guy with cap that may be the odd guy out, even after the byram move?

More likely Manson imo, though that would also be interesting as there would be little snarl and toughness left on the D if any. I think it's still possible it's one of the forwards goes instead but it's also manageable without doing so. It just means bottom pair D and the 4th line will all likely need to be near league min contracts or ELCs.

Because the Sens need veterans and Johansen is a good player at $2 million.

He doesn't need to be a 60 point player to be worth $2 million.

He could easily get 30-35 points next year which would be fine at that price tag.

He's on track for 30 points this year, that's objectively an NHL-calibre player.
