Kings will likely trade Kaliyev this summer, but they have no use for Jordan Harris and a 4th round pick isn't enough.

Not sure they can get much more than that realistically

They'll likely swap him for a project prospect or backup goaltender, or in a package for an upgrade elsewhere. My money is still on a Lindgren for Kaliyev swap with Washington.

Maybe it could happen (shouldn't LA just target as many futures for Kaliyev and flip those plus other assets for a bigger piece?)

Why would they trade him for assets that they intend to flip instead of assets they could actually use?

Instead of getting Lindgren, they could use the assets they got for Kaliyev, add some other stuff, and get an even better goalie

I could see Harris as an Englund replacement at their 3LD spot. Englund sucks.

They don't need a better goalie, they need a cheap 1B goalie that can play 30-40 games so they can use the savings at goaltender to extend Byfield and Roy. Talbot and Rittich were the cheap options this season, but given how well both have played, both are going to get raises next year, and they'll likely price themselves out of LA. Lindgren is signed to another season at $1.1M and has done very well for the Caps. He'll have 40+ starts by the end of this season.

Also, in your scenario, why not just add "some other stuff" with Kaliyev and trade for an "even better goalie" instead of the "assets they got for Kaliyev"?

I said this several weeks ago, but I'll break it out again.

The Kings have no interest in Jordan Harris, he'd be a healthy scratch on the Kings.

Any LHD the Kings would be interested needs to:

A. Be better than Anderson and/or Gavrikov
B. Be bigger and meaner than Englund

Harris is neither.
