One UFA goalie that I think the Devils should be interested is Leafs Samsonov. He had poor six weeks in November and December. But since then, stellar.
Yeah his GAA and save % aren't good. But take away that bad stretch, they are good. Even at that he has the second best goalie "win" percentage, just behind Florida's Bob.
Leafs likely can't afford him. But a "show me" contract, I think he'll provide good value.

Hawks probably decline. It's a fair offer but Hall is one of only 4 legit top 6 forward options the Hawks have. They probably want to either play him on the top line w/ Bedard and Kurashev, or if the Hawks keep the Foligno/Bedard/Kurashev line together for next season, Hall and Anthanasou can anchor an improved 2nd line for the Hawks. Can't see them moving Hall before the TDL unless he asks to be traded.

Totally agree, I think the 2nd round pick will be there at the TDL if the Hawks want to move Hall, so I would prefer they bring him back and give him the opportunity to play alongside Bedard or… Celebrini.
