Sure, Sens should absolutely do this, it worked out so well for the Flames, the Sens should do the exact same thing! In the immortal words of Einstein "the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results". So go crazy, if that's what you think is best for the Sens

LOL!!! 😂 does this really bother you that much? Your life must really suck to get this worked up over an imaginary trade proposal. What makes you think Hubby would play like **** in Ottawa? Just cause it isn’t “working” in Calgary, does not mean it can’t work elsewhere. Pretty sure there’s been trades where it’s worked out better for the player on another team. And you’re making Hubby to be some bum. I really appreciate your response though.

Weegar is great but no one should touch that Huberdeau contract with a 10 foot pole

Likewise w Norris…it was more about a RD for Sens, younger players for Flames, both “risks” due to injuries/contracts. Again, nothing serious, just throwing some **** out on a Saturday night.

Calgary passes. Weegar is better than Chabot and gets paid less. Norris is always injured.

Appreciate the bold take however one thing you overlook with Norris is they could bury him on LTIR or buyout at 75% like they did to Colin white. I see the vision but I’m not sure Ottawa takes on more cap for more years.

Yes, the SENS have been unimaginably disappointing this year, but the one positive is that their core is still quote young.
Adding a rapidly declining 31 year old Huberdeau who'll eat $10.5M in cap for the next 7 seasons screams BAD IDEA.

Yeah, I know it’s not the “perfect” proposal. Norris could be done, unfortunately (I feel for the kid). Again just some random thoughts last night

Huberdeau likely declines and Weegar may as well. And even though I think Ottawa would entertain moving on from Norris and Chabot to better balance their roster I don't think they would do this specifically.

Something I could see making sense is a trade involving Norris and Spurgeon though.
