Leafs would have no interest in Sorokin and his new
eight year contract starting at age 29
Same with the Sens and Pelech. 5.75m for five full season starting at age of 30, that's really iffy
If Bruins need a centre for a year, ,maybe they take 5m Page for free.

Going after Pageau interferes with Boston signing Lindholm or another center via trade. I think they would rather re-sign JDB and look at the market. Coyle is more than capable of playing 2C minutes, they need a 1C above all else

They need a top 6 forward. Doesn’t need to be a center, but it would be nice if it was a player who could win a faceoff. I tend to agree that it won’t be a player that interferes with the cash position to secure either Lindholm or Hanifin

That's true. So even if they ride Zacha and Coyle as 1 and 2 C, Pageau gets in the way of Poitras playing 3C and costs way more.

I wouldn’t take Pageau if you gave me a pick to take him because of what it does to our ability to secure a top free agent

Sens will not move Chyhchrun for another LD. A huge reason he would be available is because the Sens have a logjam at LD with Chabot, Sanderson, Brannstrom and Kleven. If Chychrun gets moved, it's for a goalie or a RD or assets they can use on one.
