Any particular reason? I've seen a lot of Blues fans say all they want is RHD which Hronek fits the criteria for and this year his production is only slightly lower despite being A Dman. If the Blues are reportedly looking to move Kyrou what would you be looking for?

Blues need LHD. You can have Kyrou for Lekkerimaki, Willander, and dman Pettersson.

Blues have Parayko and Faulk on the right side. Unless we are trading Faulk I don't see a place for Hronek. Having all 3 is way too much money on the right side.

You sure about that? Because asking for two blue chip prospects + another pretty good prospect for an expensive winger having a down season in the first year of a big contract is pretty unreasonable. Lekkerimaki + Willander + D Petey would be a package for a superstar level player, not Jordan Kyrou

Canucks hope Lekkerimaki becomes Kyrou and hope Willander becomes Hronek. Maybe asking for dman Pettersson on top is too much. But price seems right for supposedly contending team going for it.

What makes you think the Blues would pay what Vancouver would not? There's no deal to be made here.

Yeah you are considering you’re asking for 2 blue chip prospects and another good prospect for an 8M winger on pace for just 60 points. Lekkerimaki and Willander for Thomas is a much closer and fairer deal than Lekkerimaki and Willander for Kyrou

Would you trade Dvorsky, Snuggerud, and another solid prospect for Debrincat? That’s essentially what you’re asking the Canucks to do

So in your own words, you want future Hronek and future Kyrou for Kyrou now. Even if it were a fair offer, which it isn't, Canucks aren't doing that. No organization trades their top 3 prospects for one player. And Kyrou's value, especially at that cap hit, is much closer to just Hronek.

I already admitted the EP dman piece may have been too much. And yes if I the Blues had the Canucks roster, I would trade Dvorsky and Snuggerud for Cat. As much as it would hurt, there is nothing better than winning a cup.

Canucks currently have cup contending team. By the time those 2 are good, don’t know if you will or not. I would mortgage future for present. Your fan base and my fan base know pretty darn well how rare getting to the finals is…to each their own.

Contending requires good young players on ELCs that can contribute. Cap hell is the fastest way out of contention. Van will need those guys in the next year or two. They simply can't have no blue chip prospects.
