Yikes to that Turbo contract, next to zero chance Davidson does that. I get the overpay on Demelo because it's short term but 3 years and 3-3.5M too much on Turbo

Teravainen and Demelo contracts are horrible, Chicago doesn't even consider them. And with their terrible play this season, Raddysh and Entwistle shouldn't receive another contract from Chicago. Also way too much for Phillips

No chance Hawks give Turbo 5x$8m. Maybe 2x$7m at the most. DeMelo to replace Murphy for 2 years is fine.

I don’t mind the Murphy trade, especially if you are bringing in DeMelo to replace him.

As others have stated the per year amounts for DeMelo and Teravainen are a little steep but two years for DeMelo is short term and should not be a problem moving forward. Teravainen for five years may require an overpay to get him to come back to Chicago. With the cap projected to increase significantly over the next couple of years and Hall, Foligno, Dickinson etc. dropping off the cap/roster in the near future I really wouldn’t mind this Teravainen deal.

Yeah I dont get why people are hating on the TT deal, its not exactly a bargain bin contract, but to get him to come to chicago it makes sense and takes him through only his prime years.

I like that. Kind of like the Foligno and Perry deals, where we get TT's rights before free agency and convince him to sign.
