A bit of a problem who is a great goalie…Holtz is meh at best. If Binnington was on your team, NJD would be in playoff position. Understood not trading Hamilton but you are on one if you think there is a world where Holtz has more value than Binnington.

I’m not saying NJ does this, they definitely don’t

But Binnington is the better player at his position than both Hamilton and Holtz, but since he’s a goalie he has less value. Also Faulk definitely has value. I would agree he’s not having the best season but saying he barely has value is a stretch.

Goaltending is valuable.

Goalies aren't.

Let's take a look at binnington. Sure, this year he's been excellent. Last year he was dog****. Year before that, dog****. Just because we trade for binnington doesn't guarantee our goaltending problems are solved.
