So why does Anaheim give up the grittier defenseman in a straight swap when that's why Zub is supposed to do for the team and it's what Anaheim needs.

No one's trading anything for Norris until he can prove he's healthy. Three surgeries on the same shoulder is a huge red flag. Thinking you can get a first for a player like that is delusional.

let me clear a few things up:
1) The norris trade was just to get rid of his salary. If they can get a late round pick then so be it. Trade him for scraps to afford the rest of the roster I compiled.
2) ARZ would take chabot because they have ZERO Dmen under contract next year and they need an achor with term and could afford his 8mil contract (and would need to to get to the floor)
3) Zub and Gudas are similar players with similar salary so if that trade doesn't happen I'm fine with a right side D of Tanev, Zub, Dumba.
4) As for the person who asked where's Alfie and Chara (both could play on this year's team) - Alfie will still be an assistant coach and Chara should be hired as a D coach.
