Why would the habs take on a unproductive undersized dman when they are already trying to move out dmen.

Farrell is still waiver exempt next year

Farrell likely wouldn't see any NHL time with Columbus, which strengthens Cleveland, and this relieves the defensive logjam for the Jackets. Sounds fine to me.

he'S not undersized... 190 6' + RD right now would finally be a strong side. only need 1 elite talent in the top 6 and we are good. Farrell fits nicely in clb lineup

Of the 244 dmen who have played 20 games this year he is 37th lightest and tied for 31st shortest. Hes small
