i think its very unlikely jarvis sign long term personally.

Its gonna be interesting to see what they do with KK. With that buyout so cheap, they have to ask themselves if that money could be better spent aomewhere else.

i think they will give him another year probably.

Team takes a pretty big step back with that youth in the regular lineup. Think Morrow needs an AHL year, and Nadeau needs another year in NCAA. Would rather spend cap here to bring back Skjei instead of HJ and VA.

Tbh i thought it was 2 mil, guess it's 2.5. Think it's more realistic for Jarvis to take a couple mil less on a bridge deal and opens up the cap to give Jokiharju extra and improve some of the depth.

As good as Guentzel is, do you really spend 8.9m on a 30 year old winger? Maybe solidify the Jarvis and Necas long term and have cap for a capable NHL Dman.

I think you should look up the definition of the word “realistic” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1- wtf would make u think his QO was actually LESS than what Jokiharju is currently making???
Wow…. Idk the right words to say how absurd that is

2- if Jokiharju is willing to sign for anything CLOSE to that nonsense idea of yours, then the Sabres 100% keep him

3- don’t think it’s “futures” we’re looking for- trying to start winning here sooner than later

To each their own though
Feel free to continue to think we’d trade him for picks & u can sign him to an INSULTING contract
I just prefer to live in reality

Maybe on your Xbox though???

I just seen too many players especially Dmen hit the wall in their early thirties. So it isn't so much have 30 to 33 year old players, it's having players on expensive contract till they are about 36.

Your comment. I'm just trying to be realistic for all fans., but your comment about the Leafs is true, Be interesting how the Leafs spend their cap in summer of 2025 when both Marner and Tavares and their 22m come off the books.

U don’t think u guys are gonna sign Marner again?
That would be very surprising imo

I could definitely see u guys walk away from Tavares though
That would make sense at his age

Tavares certainly is playing OK, but no where close to 11m. Leafs will praying Minten develops into a 2C (though I have my doubts). See what's available in the UFA market at centre Marner, yeah he's a likely to resign. But I'm of the belief, if it's too much cap, the team should walk away and spend that cap elsewhere.
I know people you have to sign your stars....But take the Leafs for example, Is Matthews better at 13.3m than he is 11.6m, or Nylander 11.5m to his current 7m. Marner let's say 12.5m as to his current 111m.
Just spent the increase in cap on three players which matches the league cap going up. How about all the other players that deserve raises?

I hear ya, but Marner is a heck of a player
If u guys aren’t gonna sign him, u better trade him for a haul
Letting him walk for nothing would be insane
