Sure for Boqvist;

Hard pass on the Laine trade;

Provorov will be a TDL move for a 1st;

Not sure why PHI would make that trade, but CBJ accept;

AN won’t be signed - CBJ won’t be carrying three NHL cap hits at G;

No idea why Perron would waste twilight years playing for a rebuilding team;

If it wasn't for the four year term, and rather one or two years I'd consider that for Philly.

Calgary probably thinks about that because they could use a top 4 left shot D but after what happened this year they probably don't want to add another a pending UFA. Also I think they'd prefer a more physical player.

“Three cap hits at G.” Difference there. Poor cap management, and if the goal is just to get to the cap floor, there could be better options at doing so without three UFA contracts I don’t think will/should happen (not sure what Nedeljkovic has done to warrant both a two-year deal and a raise, nor do I see Perron or Kylington signing up just to be TDL bait).

If anything, the goal would be to look at locking up some of the RFA’s for longer term at bigger cap hits, and but out some UFA years. At least in that sense you are potentially maximizing cap down the line.

As I said in description Perron is just there for Johnson, Sillinger, Fantilli etc.

I get that, but don’t see any motivation for Perron to do this. He’s not going to a contender, he’s not taking a hometown discount to stay with a team, and he’s not going to mentor Bedard. He’ll have a market, and probably one from a playoff team that would pay him at least within the ballpark of this.

Outside of Boqvist and Peterson, I pass on everything.
