Konecny is a stud but a rebuilding team shouldn't be giving up picks and prospects for a one year rental.

At face value I am ok with that trade. But CHI is nowhere near being a contender and by the time they are, Konecny will be that much older. I doubt he would even extend with CHI, which would mean CHI just threw away a bunch of valuable assets for nothing.
