Zegras is all flash and no substance. Smart GMs will avoid him unless the acquisition cost is low. The most valuable asset in this proposal isn't Zegras, it's Anaheim's 2024 1st.

So let me get this straight. This offer is a guy who has put up consistent offensive numbers (60+ point seasons the two full years he's been healthy) and a pick that will fall anywhere between 1-5 for a goalie we don't need, a mid 6 forward, a first that likely falls somewhere between 25-32 and a 2nd rounder in a draft that is not super deep with guys who are almost NHL ready?... No thank you... Not even close to what Anaheim is looking to add for Zegras. Our top pick isn't going anywhere

I wasn't aware Markstrom was 24 year old Patrick Roy, and Mangispane was Gretzky.

You want 3OA AND Zegras? For a 34 year old goalie we don't need and a 2nd line winger?
