Pretty simple pass for Carolina, mainly because of the lack of control on Konecny. Necas can sign 8 years as an RFA and we don't revisit this conversation for a while. TK we have to come back to in a year, no point. Just keep Necas, though this is something that could be a starting point. But 1-for-1 is an easy no

Unless Briere has compromising pictures of Tre, no chance he would make that trade; ridiculous

Nope
ask me last summer i'd agree
I got to take in a game Florian Xhekaj played in after he switched to Center
We NEED him as he controls the space between the circles infront of the next like a Pro
Moving him to Center just helped him focus solely on that role rather then battling on the boards for pucks then going to the net as a screen
Now he's controlling the play at a high rate of success by using the Xhekaj Family Trait in his Size and Power.
Arber walked into the NHL and Retired Kassian one of the bigger NHL fighters while everyone said he wouldnt push around Men like he did teens in Junior
I wouldnt underestimate Florian cause he' molded his game after his favorite players Brady Tkachuk and his Brother Matthew really loving playing that mental warfare side to hockey. He's one of the top fighters win wise in the OHL without being a PIM leader and is a 1/36 people in the OHL to score 30 Goals this year.

Im telling you check into Florian's Progress since Brampton Bulldogs made changes in late November , he's been a Stud
He's got a MUCH More Accurate Shot then his Brother even though not the same amount of power
He's not as hard of a hitter as his brother but still lays the boom
While Arber gets in more penalty Troubles , Florian become a reliable 2 PK unit and PP 1 unit player
Polar opposites who are similar in size and attitude but Florian is more Lean as Speed and getting faster is his main focus
While Arber is looking more at being able to out muscle literally everyone in the NHL and pull 2 players at a time out of scrums like Weber used to.

They're cheap in house developed Playoff Players who will showcase their talents and win overall all fans after just 1 Playoff game im sure.

We are also dumping Anderson and bringing a future Selke candidate

Briere doesn't make the offer because Hughes never answers the phone

You get a Cap Dump, A Dman that can't break the HNL, A prospect at best will be bottom 6 and an AHL player. I don't see Bob Gainey's name in the mix. A true Selke winner

wtf is that last trade

long-term cap dump who can't go on ir
3rd pair dman
potential bottom 6 forward at most

for

bottom pair dman
top 15 defensive forward in league with good offensive ability
potential bottom 6 forward at most
cap dump who very likely may be on ltir all of next year (if not will be bought out)
early 2nd

briere gets fired if he offers that, hughes gets fired if he says no

It'd be better to find someone else to RS in exchange for MTL lets say taking Campbell's contract then buying it out
EDM would clear 5m cap for RS of 1.5-1.75m the average to buy out campbell over 6 years
Why would EDM RS? its 1.75m? it'd cut their term in half to 3 years instead of 6
MTL could keep Campbell in the AHL with Dobes until it becomes time he so bad we have to buy him out in a year or two.

Why wouldnt MTL just RS? doing it this way MTL doesnt give up a RS slot and while Campbells a burden he's 500k cheaper then Anderson before we send him to the AHL
So we save like almost 1.5m i think or something like that when he goes down

3rd party will pay for Anderson at just under 4m in the right situation

Yeah, i dont see it that way
Andersons a big problem for you, not us
MSL loves him despite his lack of Goal Scoring he does a lot of things MSL loves
When players get sat, he's not one of them for a reason . . .Gally has been a couple times so its not just playing the Vet's mentality for MSL.

I'd much rather trade him to a team looking to buyout a player
Offer them to RS on the average of a Buyout and cut their term in half by RS
It'd offer EDM an out for example

Easier to move Anderson at 3.5 to 4 million
Bringing in a contract to bury has its cap breaks too

Cates is elite defensively. I’d rather have him over Xhekaj. Johansen shouldn’t cost a lot to move. 1 year left on his contract
