There is no chance we are getting rid of first round selections with a rebuild/younger retool on the horizon. They will be stockpiling as much elite young talent as possible. Once Ovi goes the youth movement is 100% in swing.

Why would the nucks do this? They want to compete now and stay in the hunt - if we can't resign hronek, then we will trade him for a better package that helps us for right now. Iorio not fully proven yet at NHL level
