Sounds like Quillian could be an NHL guy as of next year.

Leafs trade their defensive C depth for RD depth. Montreal get a solid defensive C option to help support their young guys and a pick for their pending UFA RD.

Evans is moving after this season with Dvorak as both are pending UFA's
He's a solid 4th line Bulk Faceoffs guy with a better career average in that regard then Evan
He's a good PK guy who steal twice as many pucks as he gives up and at 1.5m or so he's worth it
2.4 with a M-NTC for 2/3 years remaining after this though is a HARD SELL for a 4th line Center like that
If he layed out 100-150 hits a year we'd be fighting over him but he doesnt and its very middling in that area's for a 4th line C who doesnt really block shots.
i just dont see how you justify giving a 4th line C that contract with protection as it limits your already limited market on him

Kovacevic was a waiver wire pickup and will be soon enough, no need to spend assets - Leafs can find better players (albeit at higher cap hits) in FA

Why do Leaf fans think they are front runners for Roy and Stolarz? Quillan? C'mon, maybe he might see some games as NHLer but next season he's a third liner with th Marlies.

We likely gonna get rid of Dvorack this offseason and the big rumour is that Monahan can come back to MTL for their 3rd line center for next season.

About Evans, he will likely gone after 24-25, and I think that Owen Beck will gonna take the 4th line spot in the Habs roster.
