Trades
CHI
  1. 2024 4th round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
Rangers give up a 4th rounder, which I bet they don't lose sleep over. Low risk trade for them.
NYR
  1. Raddysh, Taylor [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Down year for Raddysh who had 20 goals last year on the worst team in the league.

Rangers need RW's especially with the question mark of Kakko's future. Pretty Low risk trade for the rangers and Raddysh should be close to league minimum.

I don't see a big fish FA like Lindholm happening. If they want a center maybe they target Monahan or Domi on a short term overpay, or more likely take on someone's cap dump. Also, Nazar will play wing in the pro's and almost certainly in Rockford for most of next year I think, although I could be wrong on that

I like the RFA signings and the price range is right for all except Vlasic in my opinion, I think it takes $5m + to lock him up long term.

There is no chance I give Lindholm over $8m per season coming off of this season, I let some other team take that gamble.

I like the Carrier signing and the price seems right but I would only do 2 or 3 seasons max. I wouldn’t want to block the path for Rinzel and Leshunov.

If a 4th round pick was the best I could get for Raddysh I would just keep him and hope for a rebound next season.

Yeah. I was just going to say, Lindholm is NOT getting an $8M aav. That would be ridiculous. He will probably be looking for term, anyway, not a short term overpaid contract.

I agree w/ @Wadejos123. Hawks won't target a player like Lindholm, and he probably won't sign a 2 year deal on a rebuilding team anyway. I also think Nazar at least starts next season in Rockford. Don't like Bedard on a wing. Rest of it seems ok though.

I made the AAV 8.15 to make up for the term. Lindholm is gonna rebound and have a bidding war with Boston. He would be with Pasta or Marchand on that team. I do agree that monahan could be an alternative though.

Yeah, maybe. I should have said "Lindholm *SHOULDN'T* get $8M", but I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I just saw AFP Analytics predicts him getting $8.04M x 7 years, which, for a guy who turns 30 in December, that just sounds like trouble to me. I honestly have no clue what KD is gonna do.

I'd honestly be willing to overpay him if it's a short-term deal. His 2-way game is very good. I like to think of it as Bedard is playing well with Dickinson but imagine him with Lindholm. Both 2 way players but Lindholm is just significantly better in every category.

Idk about all that. Dickinson has been the better player this season in almost every category, aside from transition game, and has consistently been better than Lindholm defensively. Lindholm's best seasons offensively came when he was playing between Tkachuk and Gaudreau, who are both superstar top line wingers. If AFP Analytics is right about what him and his agent will be looking for this summer, $8M would not be an overpay, which means he wouldn't take 2 years at that AAV.

So, yeah, I guess if he will take 2 years, give it a whirl and see if he can get back to that 80 point per season pace playing with Bedard. But, if not, I wouldn't even consider him.
