like i've said, has solid dekes, and has good hands in front of the net.

He's not scoring a michigan, but that's not really something important either

Just out of curiosity, what's the guarantee that the #7 pick won't turn out to be the next Lias Andersson?

That's why the accompanying player in a Zegras trade would have to be a more useful asset than a redundant bottom-4 LhD.

Cole Caufield better hurry up -- he has 3 games to record 6 points to equal Zegras' record through 200 games, and that's with Zegras playing 15 games (one for three whole shifts) this season injured.

Hi old friend, hope everything is doing good for you.

What’s the guarantee the #7th overall pick isn’t the next Keller, Q. Hughes or Cozens 🧐

Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Catton, Helenius, Eiserman, Igilna. Enough said. Zegras will be worse than every player there

No guarantee at all and, in fact, in my opinion the odds are significantly greater that the pick will be a boom rather than a bust. But I was directing my comment to those fans in this thread who seem to think that whoever the Habs pick, he is guaranteed to be better than Zegras and should be a Hall of Famer.

Now you're just embarrassing yourself. If you're that good at seeing into the future, you should be a billionaire by now.

I understand both POV, and I think the feasability depends on how available Zegras truly is this summer.

The only realistic scenario in which I see Zegras becoming available is if Anaheim lands either Celebrini or Levshunov in the draft. Even then, the player coming with an early first-rounder would have to be a RW with a very high upside.

The odds are very good for all of them. I’ll take a great chance at a 90 pts maybe 2 way player over a 70 pts awful defensively player

Sorry, other than Celebrini, I don't see ANY of them, let alone all of them, being better than Sebastian Aho. But you're entitled to hope, and that's what makes horse races.

Celebrini, Demidov, Catton and Eiserman all have very good chances of being 90 pts players. Lindstrom and Igilna will more than likely hit 80 while being good defensively. Helenius could easily get 75 pts and 35 goals. All of this is better than a guy who got benched multiple times this season and is beyond awful defensively.

As I have said multiple times before, Zegras’ value is aroound 10 OA, and nobody should be paying that
