who is on the move besides chychrun do you think

The state that the Sens are in scares me, a team that has actually acquired some seriously good pieces through a massive rebuild and still has not been successful at all

They need to have a 2021 Sabres total tare down. Trade Tkachuk, Chychrun and Chabot build the prospect pool and build around Stutzle, Grieg, Pinto and Sanderson.

Is the rebuild over if you have to start a new one?

Tkachuk, Chychrun…I’d say Norris but not with his injury history now. Ownership is torn between Tkachuk and Stutzle. There were rumors about players not liking Stutzle and management not high on Brady’s character…immature. There’s def truth to those rumors. From what I’ve heard, one of those will be traded. I personally think Brady wants out anyway. Think he’s had enough, this was the “make or break” year. His dad is in his ear for damn sure. He wasn’t staying in Ottawa anyway…I never thought he’d finish up his contract in the first place. He has a kid on the way. Would like to be by family, she would. Most teams would want Brady but only a few can actually trade for him…teams w major assets.

I’d listen on anyone not named Sanderson, Zub, Stutzle , Greig or Pinto. Also not trading high picks

You trade Tkachuk. Older and way less term and plays wing

You’re Staois, where is he going and what’s the return?

NJ for one of these 3 options:
Nemec and a 2nd
Mercer, 10-11 overall and another good piece
Hischier

Or :
Arizona for Crouse + 5th overall + 2nd

Or

Jack Quinn + Buffalo 1st this year and 1 more good asset

I don’t care what it is but you don’t trade Tkachuk without a young building block piece coming back

Agree 100% with you…young top player who you can build around needs to be priority #1. I can see Devils pulling the trigger on all but the Nemec…that I’m not too sure they’d do. But I don’t really know how NJ feels about Nemec and how he’s developing. They also have Casey back there too.

I think Buffalo would trade just about anyone for Brady. That proposal by you would definitely work.

The Arizona one is very interesting. Only way Zona does it is if they know Brady will be staying long term. What’s he have, 3 years remaining or 4? Maybe that is enough and hopefully Coyotes start winning during that time.

I’m trying to think of other teams that have assets Ottawa would be interested in. What about Detroit? First, would they even do another big trade w them? Philly has young group but nothing that will blown your mind. It’s not that easy of a trade to make when you really get into it.

Any trade would have to get us a good young high level F or RD. It can’t be someone like Casey tho, too dmall

Blue Jackets w Jiricek…this years 1st and another player…Jenner? Marchenko? I know they have some younger prospects but not NHL ready.

Just popped into my head after I posted last one.

Gonna be an interesting offseason that’s for aure

If the choice is Jiricek or 4th overall it’s a tough one . Idk which I’d choose

ya the first 2 NJD offers you said are rejected immediately by OTT, not remotely enough for brady, NJD would need to add in the 3rd offer.

Crouse is a 3rd liner and will always be a 3rd liner ARI would need to add DYLAN GUENTHER

no chance Brady will be traded in division and OTT would have ZERO and i mean ZERO interest in often injured Quinn.
