Dostal has played 41 games already this season and he might play the rest from here to the end. I can guarantee you that if Anaheim trades Gibson they want a goalie coming back with fewer years on his contract than Gibson has. Not more. They might not want a goalie back in the deal at all.

ANA trade is probably rejected by both sides I'd imagine.

As my previous fellow Ducks fans have said, we won't be needing or wanting a goalie back in the deal for Gibson. The pipeline (no pun intended) for goaltending for Anaheim looks pretty set with Dostal leading the way for the foreseeable future and guys with strong potential like Clang, Suchanek, and Clara coming up through the ranks.
