Or just don't overpay Skjei and keep Orlov? Don't mind moving Kuznetsov if it means Necas moves to C

I suppose a bridge for Jarvis and keep Orlov works. But may be advantageous to go long on Jarvis now. Moving Orlov helps that work.

Or you could just not overpay guys like Drury, or even Walker to an extent. There's no need. Signing Skjei long term makes no sense anyway because Nikishin becomes a factor at the end of the upcoming season. Nikishin's going to get a top 4 spot. Morrow *should* replace Burns in the long run. With that already sorted, Orlov can play both sides, Skjei can't. You can go long on Jarvis without keeping Skjei and it works.

Cole kinda burned his bridges here already, no need to re-sign him.

No thanks from nashville. Novak as a 2C and sissons as 3C is a more cost effective solution unless kuzy has a full rebound but im not takin that chance. He reminds me of ryan Johansen

Orlov is too old and too high paid to meet Calgary's needs. He's UFA next year anyhow.
