That Flyers trade makes ZERO sense for a rebuilding team. Young two-way player and a first for a soon to be 29 year old Jarry and a 4th? Flyers have a ton of legit goalie prospects and Ersson/Fetotov currently on the roster,

I understand your thought on the Jarry trade if Hart isn't returning (I'm sure he will). But the Flyers if they wanted to spend over 5m on a goalie, can find good one cheaper as a UFA.
Timmins gets grieve from Leafs fans.....I don't know why, except he is constantly injured or sick. But his play has been NHL worthy in the games he has played. He's a cheap Dman, guys like Accarli...well there are lots of those available for free.

Flyers aren't going to be competitive next season. This season was a Cinderella run that blew up in our faces. It goes to show we are not a single player away from fixing it. So if getting a veteran goalie on a long deal into his 30s means a young player and a 1st, it will just trap the Flyers in the perpetual cycle of mediocrity they've been trapped in for 14 years now.
