The trouble with offer sheets is that in some cases teams have to offer almost UFA money to acquire the player and give up picks too.
So teams are much better just better to sign UFAs and keep their picks.
Rossi, had a "break out" season for Wild this season, Don't see him being traded as the Wild don't have much centre depth.
Florida has a lot of UFAs this summer. I don't see them trading centre Lundell as they don't have great centre depth.
Necas could be on the trade market. For a team with cap, he would be a fine acquistion.

Hard to say what it would take for Rossi. I do think Guerin is taking calls on him this summer, but with another year of 14.7M in dead cap and Rossi having 1 more on his ELC, there's no urgency or incentive.

My best guess is that he'd be looking for a young d-man or a termed scoring winger, but who knows.

Rossi is worth around what you'd value Foerster. Same age, similar production. They should just stick with him, but if they were to trade him, I'd say a top-6 winger would be great to get Mojo out of there. Although Yurov, Ohgren, and Heidt may make waiting a year or two the more pertinent move.

As a Flyers fan, Im more focused on moving expensive items (Atkinson, Coots, Risto, Laughton) than I am of acquiring assets.

          I'd trade Foerster for Rossi.

At 12, Im looking at Center or moving both picks up to acquire Berkly Catton.

Would not both trying to acquire Rossi or Necas.

Lundell I'd do one of our non-own 1sts + a 2nd + Brink to try and nab, but I wouldn't go much further than that.

The steep dropoff in talent in this draft class is around 13, I'm simply taking whoever is available in that top-13 group.

Lastly, I'd see if I can poach a bargain out of Arizona. It seems like the players are starting to get fed up with all of the crap that's been going on there so there's an opportunity to nab a value piece (I like the idea of buying semi-low on Valimaki)

I'd rather not sell assets for other team's potential RFAs. You got a build a team through the draft rather than just snagging potential players with futures.

As for our pick, I'm kind of hoping we can somehow snag Tij Iginla, but I have a hunch that Calgary will likely land him.

Well I wouldn’t mind getting back young RFAs either cause they are somewhat proven and are a little more known than a draft pick is

You have a point, but given how those draft picks could surprise people and end up being better players just makes me personally want to build from the draft. If Danny were to spend some assets on one RFA I wouldn't be annoyed, as long as the price isn't too high. Most of these guys are likely staying with their teams though.

Agreed I just feel like our drafting is so unpredictable (Michkov, Cutter, Patrick, etc) that I wouldn’t mind someone like Lundell who is only 22 and already proven to be a solid player.

Yeah Cutter was a huge mess, but to be fair on Patrick he was projected to be the potential 1st overall between him and Hischier. Unfortunately his concussion problems just completely tanked that.

Michkov still looks to be a steal, and since Danny has proven he can be a diplomat with the Russian side, I have barely any worries about him.

Oh no I’m just saying with Michkov like who knows what he will be and when he will come over. He looks to be a generational talent. I’m just saying it’s not a bad thing to have a young guy actually playing for the flyers where u don’t have to worry about anything lol that’s all.

I’m sure the canes would match any reasonable offer sheet that would be sent Necas’ way. With a trade, personally I would hope for a more affordable young replacement at forward, preferably a C or RW. Just glancing at Philly’s roster, maybe a package surrounding either Brink or Forester?

Why are the Wild moving one of their two good centers for another winger? Let's make it make sense.

I’m sure the canes would match any reasonable offer sheet that would be sent Necas’ way. With a trade, personally I would hope for a more affordable young replacement at forward, preferably a C or RW. Just glancing at Philly’s roster, maybe a package surrounding either Brink or Forester?

Yeah Foerster isn’t gonna get moved but Brink definitely could be packaged together

I don't want them to trade Rossi. I was just commenting what I think it would look like in the event that Guerin does deal him.

In the hypothetical where he is traded, what do you think a general return framework would be?
