I hear that but with the Sens taking offers on him, I think it makes sense to speculate a deal with him when they will not be getting rid of their next super star in Stutzle, and their emerging stars in Pinto and Sanderson. Grieg is probably untouchable as well

A pundit or two claimed they "kicked the tires" on the concept of a Brady trade. I don't remember which one(s) said it, but most of them are clickbaiters so I would not take it seriously.

If the offers are

Quinn + Ostlund + 11th overall or equivalent you have to consider it , add that return along with the Sens pick at 7th and they can fix the future outlook of the team a lot faster

yeah lmao. like I get that the Sens were open season for so long that people like to think they can just have whoever they want from them, but a Brady trade is just so far contrary to reality

Trading a 24 year old 3 time 30+ goal scorer who plays with an edge and has the size and body type to back it up and have a long career.

I would not do that deal if Buffalo offered it, but I am not a strong believer in futures and the Sens don't really need more youth.

So you would trade, Reinbacher, Fowler and your first (1st overall protected) for Brady. If that was offered the Sens would need to take that

Yeah don't see the blues doing this. Hofer isn't ready for the starting goalie spot. So our overall goaltending goes down and our defense still sucks and now we have traded 2 of our best assets and not addressed our defense. So we are stuck in the same spot as this year

I disagree . The Sens need to do a 2 year prospect replenish , open up more cap space and build a better team that fits better .

They have pieces they can move like Chychrun, Tkachuk and Batherson to get there. And they already have their 1D and 1C on the team

I think the more obvious change to the core would be Chabot. They could resign Chych based of his Meh defensive season for less than Chabot. Chabot with term is probably worth more than Chych at the draft. Keep Brannstrom for one more season and run JBD/Kleven as his partner.

In goal id buyout Forsberg, Korpisalo is to much to move. sign a Vet goalie that has been a starter. Run Korpi, G UFA and Sogaard in a 3 goalie rotation. Cross your fingers and hope for the best lol.

that dont remotely get Brady and that dont get chych OTT declines both those trades without a second thought

And this honestly makes zero sense for stl as well, just puts them further behind in the retool, hell it might catapult them into a rebuild
